i got 2 kobold transformtion stone when i was grinding kobolds...

I've gotten that exact one and the BonBon (Bamboo Shooters) ones from the swamp in Heroes lane. They seem to just drop randomly. Also, you aren't very strong while using them it seems. Just for fun I suppose. Did you get 2 at once as well?

I wonder whether there is any specific types of kobold/rengot etc that drops it? the minibosses?

Ive gotten a few. I got one for a bunny, and I got one after I beat the Kobod Mad heart boss.
